Diamonds fascinate me. Their beauty and dazzle makes me want to look at them again and again. I've always wanted to own diamond jewelry. But sadly, my financial situation never allowed me that opportunity. As far as diamonds were concerned I could only look at them in showrooms, secretly admire their pictures in magazines, or visit rare exhibitions featuring diamonds. My husband works as an accountant and we barely make ends meet. It would not even be fair to demand diamond jewelry. I tried not to bring up the topic because I did not want him to feel bad.

But last week, he really swept me off my feet. He took me out for dinner to our favorite restaurant and over some wine, he gave me a gift. It was a pair of beautiful diamond earrings set in gold. He  told me that he knew I always wanted diamond jewelry. He  had been saving up for me and suddenly found a really good deal on the internet and he went ahead and bought it. I love the earrings, but even more than that I love my husband for working so hard to make my little dream come true.
