Gold Jewelry
My niece can only wear gold jewelry. She finds it somewhat frustrating because she cannot just drop into the mall and pick up whatever catches her eye. All her friends get to wear all kinds of jewelry, and she cannot. Gold jewelry is a bit expensive for a 15 year old.
At this point she only has a couple of gold stud earrings, a chain bracelet and necklace. She would like some more so she can mix and match with her clothing. I found a great website that has some wonderful discount priced gold jewelry. I bought her a gift certificate for it. Now she can buy herself what she wants. She loved it. Her friends spent the afternoon with her looking over the site. They all found jewelry they liked. I let the rest of the family know about the site. I figure for her birthday we will all give her gift certificates for the site. That way she can build up a nice collection of gold jewelry, just like her friends. She may never have as much jewelry as her friends but at least she will have some variety now.
