25 Christmases and Diamond Jewelry |

My dad is probably the most romantic guy I know. Long before my parents ever thought about me or my brother, my dad was doing romantic gestures to show mom just how much he loves her. To this day, mom still has a piece of gum (unchewed) that she got from my dad on their first date and countless amounts of love letters. Almost 45 years later, he still writes her love letters.
Dad has no problem coming up with romantic gift ideas, which is why it surprised me when he called to ask my opinion about some diamond jewelry that he wanted to give mom for Christmas this year. He said that this was their 45th Christmas together and he wanted to celebrate this year by giving her a special piece of diamond jewelry. He had a piece of diamond jewelry in mind, but he wanted to know my thoughts on it, and if he thought mom would actually wear the diamond jewelry, or just cry about how much she loved it and then stick it in the safety deposit box. I asked dad where he had found the diamond jewelry and he said he was about to email me the link on where I needed to go have a peek.
I booted up my computer while we talked and by the time it was finished and I'd checked mail, the link to the diamond jewelry was already in my inbox. I quickly opened the email and clicked on the link because I knew dad didn't want mom knowing what he was up to. When I saw the 14K White Gold and Diamond Heart Pendant & Enhancer with 2.14 Carat Total Weight that he found at A1 Jewelry Online who can be found online by visiting www.a1jewelryonline.com I was speechless. This was a piece of diamond jewelry with serious Wow factor and I knew without a doubt that mom would love it.
Dad told me that he planned on writing her a letter to go along with the piece of diamond jewelry about how it had been 45 Christmases they had spent together and he was looking forward to at least 45 more. He planned to give her the letter and then give her the diamond jewelry after she'd read the letter. Just hearing dad talk about it had me in tears, I could tell that mom would be a crying mess, but I told him he should get the diamond jewelry, that I was sure she'd wear it. |
