Diamond Jewelry
A few days ago, I received a phone call from my brother asking my advice on diamond jewelry. His 10 year anniversary is coming up a few days after Christmas, and he said that the one thing he’d always promised my sister in law is that on their 10th anniversary that he would buy her a special piece of diamond jewelry. Now that the time was drawing near, he was really nervous about what type to buy.
When my brother and sister in law married 10 years ago, their money was really tight and rather than spend a fortune on rings, they bought simple bands with the promise that my brother would buy her a beautiful piece of diamond jewelry on their 10th anniversary. Now he could easily afford a nice piece of jewelry, but he was unsure what he should buy. We talked about it for a while, and it didn’t take me long to convince him that the best piece of diamond jewelry he could buy would be a ring that she could wear along with her wedding band. After our chat, he seemed much calmer, and I assured him that regardless of what diamond jewelry he bought, she was going to love it.
