diamond jewelry, gold jewelry


My husband  has been great in the gift giving department. Although, he often tells me that he is awful at picking out gifts for the girls and myself. I don't see it the same way. I have only seen my husband be thoughtful, funny and very appropriate with his gift giving.

When our eldest daughter graduated from High School, he again hit the jackpot. My husband cashed out the CD that his parents, her grandparents, had given us when she was born. It had been growing in size ever since. Her grandparents had intended it to be used for college. So, even though my daughter may have expected diamond jewelry or gold jewelry, she was extremely pleased, to the point of tears, with the gift from her grandparents!  

One Christmas he hit a double whammy with me. As a little girl I had always wanted a particular game but my parents never got it for me as they thought it wasn't safe. I was very excited when I opened the box to find the game "operation!" We laughed, cried and played that game that afternoon! The next gift was in a smaller box but my husband had disguised it in several larger boxes...after much unwrapping I found a beautiful diamond jewelry necklace on a gold jewelry chain which I have worn every day since.
