I think that making wish lists of gifts is a prudent idea and my husband and I do something similar but we don’t email them. You see trying to think about what the other person wants and surprise them just adds to the pressure associated with birthdays and Christmas. When the people you buy for give you a list of things they would like to have you can give them something you know will be appreciated. Yet at the same time you have choices because there are several different items on the list and that means that the item you finally decide on buying will still be a surprise.
I have been making a note of items that I would like my husband to give me for Christmas and he has been doing the same. There are one or two items of gold jewelry that I would like to have. One of these items is a pearl and white gold jewelry pendant. I have always loved white gold jewelry and my husband knows this. Hence I would not be surprised to open a gift box containing a pearl and white gold jewelry pendant on Christmas morning. I guess I’ll find out for sure on December 25.
