diamond jewelry, gold jewelry


My Mom did not wear a lot of jewelry but the little that she did wear was always diamond jewelry. Mom's diamond jewelry was not gaudy by any means. She liked gold jewelry the best. Her wedding band was gold. The center stone was an oval cut and it was surrounded by six smaller diamonds, three on each side shaped like a triangle.
 
Mom had tiny fingers. When I got her jewelry, after she passed away, I quickly learned that most of her rings did not fit me. So, I safely packed them away for my daughters. I figure I will pull them out again when they are old enough to appreciate them. And that is, if the diamond jewelry rings fit them!

I have been able to wear the rest of Mom's diamond jewelry. I do not wear it every day but on special occasions I will pull out the heart shaped diamond necklace and the diamond stud earrings to match. I like wearing Mom's diamond jewelry. I feel princess-like with all that glitter against my skin!
