Unique Gold Jewelry For My Unique Sister |

My little sister is one of those people who love to wear cute and quirky jewelry. She is known for the unique and that love extends into the gold jewelry that you can often see her wearing. I've often teased her and told her that one of us is adopted, because the difference between us is like night and day. I'm very conservative right down to the minimalistic gold jewelry that I wear, and for her, the opposite is true. She wears bold, bright colors, wears her hair in dread locks from time to time, and has been known to mix her silver and gold jewelry, allowing it to hang from her neck and arms by the masses. I can't tell you how many times I've called her a gypsy, and every time I do, she just laughs and tells me that I should learn to loosen up and enjoy life a little more.
In some ways, I guess you could say that she's right. One year she gave me a beautiful piece of gold jewelry for Christmas, and rather than wearing it with pride, I still have it stuffed away in a drawer, because that particular piece of gold jewelry is larger than any other piece I own and I felt that it would 'stand out' too much. Since I'm one of those people who like to blend in, I don't wear it. Her birthday is coming up, and I wanted to get her some gold jewelry to add to her collection. I know she doesn't need any gold jewelry, but I know how much she loves it, and seeing a smile on her face is worth every penny.
I knew I wanted something unique that she didn't already own, so I spent some time browsing through several websites that sell gold jewelry before I found 14k Green Jade Turtle Earrings (post) that I found for a great price at A1 Jewelry Online whose online store can be found by visiting www.a1jewelryonline.com. I thought the little turtle was adorable, and even though it wasn't as flashy as most of the gold jewelry she wears, I knew she would love it so I ordered it for her. The gold jewelry is unique, and she loves animals, so it should be the perfect combination. In the meantime, maybe I should start thinking a little more about stepping outside of my comfort zone and enjoying life a little more. After all, we only have one, so we should make it count. |
