Gold jewelry isn't that much more expensive than a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and I think I'll suggest that he buy me fewer gifts throughout the year and choose gold jewelry instead. I'm sure he'll be fine with that because we both like to buy things that have value and while the flowers have emotional value, they are so ephemeral. I thought that I could load a lot of gorgeous flower pictures on a memory card for my mom for Mother's Day for her digital frames and give her a box of dark chocolates that besides being good, are also good for her.
