I have the hardest time buying gifts for people who really have it all. My sister is one of those people who are very particular about what she buys and what she wears, so I always struggle when her birthday or Christmas rolls around each year. One thing she does love is gold jewelry, and ironically it's something that she doesn't have a lot of, even though it's something she could buy for herself if so inclined. I think she tends to want to receive gold jewelry from people as gifts as opposed to buying it for herself, because that way it has sentimental value for her. That's definitely one thing she is, sentimental. I've always thought that I was the sentimental one in the family, but when it comes to things like gold jewelry, I really do think she has me beat.

Even though her birthday isn't until July, I always start thinking about gifts for her a little early. I really feel that I have to start thinking about it ahead of time; otherwise I’ll feel the pressure of waiting until the last minute.
