gold jewelryMost women look better when they wear gold jewelry but I am not too sure if that is always true for men. I have seen men wearing a lot of thick and chunky yellow gold jewelry and thought that it did not look very nice.  Instead I got the impression that these men were thuggish. I realize that this is stereo typing on my part but I feel it is human nature to judge by what we see. 
On the other hand I have also seen men who wear gold jewelry well. That’s because these men  were more subtle about the gold jewelry they wore. The pieces they had on were not excessively chunky and they did not draw undue attention. Instead their gold jewelry was elegant and understated.  For instance my husband’s nephew, Alex, likes to wear a little white gold dog tag which is affixed to a leather necklace. I think that this item of gold jewelry looks cool without being ostentatious and it really looks good on Alex because it contrasts nicely with his olive skin tone.
