I usually prefer to wear silver, platinum or white gold jewelry. I have found that these white precious metals look good with my coloring as I have dark hair, blue-green eyes and a pale skin tone, at least during the winter months. Yet there are still occasions when I buy yellow gold jewelry. In fact I bought some yellow gold jewelry earrings online for less than the standard retail price just last week. I have a sixteen year old niece called Alice and she does something which I think is a little strange with her gold jewelry earrings. Alice only ever wears one gold jewelry earring at a time. Apparently this is something that is part of the Emo fashion which has been very popular among adolescents since the early 2000s. Now I do not think that I am special, but I really do not want to pay for something at such a huge markup. So what is a guy to do? Well, it is the second day of February and all that is on my mind is the Super Bowl. That was until I ran into my friend’s girlfriend at the grocery store this afternoon. The Super Bowl is a big money time for gamblers in Vegas. Over here where I live, the stakes have not been quiet as high but I think they are more interesting. My friend and host of the Super Bowl this weekend probably dreams of being cradled by Peyton Manning’s farm boy arms at night. He is so confident in the Colts winning he put his hair on the line.
